betsibur/ presented at Shira2007 - Metula Festival May 2007

Betsibur Audio Visual performance based on the Babylon Poems Project, Ilana Tsukerman experimental sound works and archive materials from the israeli radio and cinema. The work deals with the israeli tradition of public sing-alongs [shira betsibur] a characteristic tradition of modern Israeli culture, with the cannonical hebrew poetry and with translation issues.
